Would it definately make the bleeding only last a few days?

It might regulate me, but i don't want to end up being on for 10 - 14 days every month, I wouldn't be able to cope!

It would regulate them and would be shorter periods once they kick in (3m approx). Usually dosage = pill for 28d (abstain for 7d).
It could help a lot but if you have heavy periods I doubt it will cut them down to a few days.
it can cut your beelind time down alot because its not an actually period, its a fake one

Tambo, so if it takes 3 months to work but it might be another 4 or 5 until i should have got the next one, wil lI get the next one in three months, or the 4 or 5 it would have been, or even 1 month?
Its never definate Mollykins as everyone is different... but its highly likely your periods would be much lighter - Mine were about 4 days... all in all.

But they are not real periods - they are fake ones caused by the hormones in the pill.

You needs to bear in mind there MAY be some other side effects...

skin can become spotty - or can become clearer
hair can become finer
weight gain is possible
insomnia too

Some women get on fine on the pill - and others really dont - it depends which group you fall in to!
depends which pill you get molly. one of them you take for 3 weeks and you get a period for 1 week. then the other one (one im on) you take everyday with no break and it stops your periods and reduces them to about 4 a year if that. however you can experience irregular bleeding, i did for a little bit but nhow its stopped. i havent had a period for about 2 and a half months now.
when you go and see your nurse to get on to the pill they will explain everything to you and answer any questions you have.

I only get 3 or 4 a year as it is. All except my last one have lasted 10 to 14 days.

I took ultovlan for a couple of weeks but afterwards I had unbearable cramp for two days. Do you get really bad cramp when taking any of these tablets?
Mine gave me headaches...
i do get a few cramps, but its rare now. but when i do its quite bad. people react differently to differetn things. my friend is on the exact saem pill as me and she has pilled on weight and i dont think she has seen a period in a year.
My periods were so bad I was having a week off work every month. I am now on Yasmin which you can take 3 or 4 packs end to end without a period. Mine are now down to about 4 days and I barely notice them so it was definitely worth it.
Give it a go molly, worth a try.
