It's Friday! Another weekend is here. Some sunshine would be nice. I'm looking forward to Monday, (It's true!) We are away for a few days for a change of scenery.

I'm retired, but involved with Cotswold Canals Trust. We are restoring the Stroudwater, and Thames and Severn canals to join the Thames at Lechlade with the Gloucester to Sharpness canal, which leads to the Severn. A big project.

Yo dudes! Last morning at work - then away almost 3 weeks....Going to find my sea legs and sea worthiness. Hope the sun shines - I don't do wind, sea AND rain...

There are a lot of us nm. It will restore a circuit from Saul, (on the Gloucester to Sharpness) to Lechlade on the Thames, to London, to Birmingham on the Grand Union canal, to Gloucester on the Severn, then back to Saul. About a month by narrowboat.

No wmb - this is my long summer holiday - so slightly further afield. Hopefully Dorset, Devon & Cornwall. But a visit to London and Cardiff before and after (obviously, not on the boat!!) x

Time I was away. There's lots of nothing to be done. ( My gorgeous D-I-L will be here soon to give me the elbow while she does the mucking out)

Nah - we'll do it wbm. We did 2 years ago - albeit not the entire Cornwall coast but hopefully as far as possible in that time - as you know, all depends on the weather.
