Yes but without looking through eevry person and seeing how often they post, would the ed only know how many profiles there are? and there are lots of people who come on a couple of times, then vanish, and others have several accounts, ok it will impossible to tell them apart, but it will give us a rough idea.

Plus people are regular then get banned, do we count those. Or people who post every day for years then leave? they are diferent to the spamming trolls who leave after a couple of days.
