i had a massage yday and the therapist said that she thought that she felt that i had a displaced rib. can this repair on its own or do i need surgery? been wondering if its due to a bit of rough and tumble with the other half, how embarrassing!

but it hurts on and off when im different positions i suppose. so will it just heal and remain displaced? wont the bone poke into something else?
No.....nothing to do with a broken rib as it is almost cartilaginous in origin.
