Sometimes when I stand up, my eyes cloud over with fuzziness like you would get on the tv if its not tuned in. It only lasts a very short while. What is the reason for this?

could be a lot of things from inner ear problems to needing glasses
But most probably low blood pressure, whether systemic, or caused by antihypertensive medication or booze. Are you on either? This may be technically labile hypertension or postural hypotension, and may make you faint clean away.

Before I frighten you, the fact that you say "when I stand up" probably means it's not serious whatever is causing it, but if it comes on for no apparent reason, it could be a bit of plaque or arterial spasm or something causing a TIA (transient ischaemic attack), tho this is likely to be accompanied by other quite frightening symptoms. If it is not, it may be amaurosis fugax (fleeting blindness), which is still quite serious. (Mine was not as fugax as I would have wished.)

So if you havent mentioned it to your GP, who will have given you a bowdlerized version of what Ive given you, and if you're not on antihypertensives and/or hitting the bottle, better do so before too long!

I'm not on medication and I'm 24, I drink occassionally but haven't touched much alcohol recently. I don't like the sound of any of the things you've mentioned mallam!
My dear CAJ, if you're 24, naturally low3 BP is GOOD NEWS (if it's not pathologically low, and yours doesnt sound to be. Enjoy a good lie-in, do you?)

Your arteries are not being wrecked and you will live to a ripe old age (barring accidents, and, er, neurosis)!

Phew!

PS: I wish I could get a good lie in!
But you enjoy one when you can, don't you? Not like us hyperactive hypertensives leaping out of bed at all hours of the night!
Caj are you taking clomid?
