I want an ID card

Been out this morning.

Getting fed up with the radio banging on about ID cards.

I want one (but obviously the photo has to be taken on a "good hair" day).

And if I lived in London, instead of (relatively safe) Sussex, I'd want everybody around me to have one.

And if any outsiders came into Brighton, I'd want them to scan their cards at the roadside checkpoint before they were allowed into the City.

And then ... I might feel safe !

Lol :) I don't see what the big fuss is about having them,. The way I see it, if you've got nothing to hide then I can't see why there is a problem.

I'm with you on the good hair day thing though!

If you have to keep showing your card all the time, you need to be allowed a few goes to get yourself looking good in the photo.

=0)
I can't see the problem with them either. I already carry a photocard driving license with me at all times and don't see what the difference is really

(though my photo on my drivers license was taking on a bad hair day, it was when I used to have a pony tail :))

Chuck ... surely EVERY day was a bad hair day, then ?
I am thinking we need phographic evidence ;)

Yaayyy ... from behind !!
you can work miracles with Photo-shop, even with an ageing female. :-)
Oooh, do you think they will let me photoshop my piccie :)

When do we get ID cards anyway?
Well as a resident in tenerife i have an id card
has photo , dob, adress , nie number (similar to ni number in uk ) finger print from right index finger on back and also all my uk passport details such as number etc.

Had it for 2 years as all residents should.

if thers a break in , and they find pprints , then theres a good cance a right index print will be there.

alas in the uk folk are against them it would seem.
what if you're left handed leg?
DUH>

even people who are left handed tend to use both hands for some things,
ie lifting a telly for one.
Im not tho.

Sorry didnt i tell you?

er... gloves?
that info should be on the card leggy. :-)
whys that duh, maybe they dont on some things. was good enough question
Loggy really?

I once met a really strong man who was left handed and could carry stuff with one hand.
He lived in a magical lamp and came out every time Aladdin rubbed the lamp.

I got fingerprint scanned and retina scanned by US Immigration in Orlando.

When I went to Disney's Magic Kingdom, I had to give a fingerprint scan to get through the entrance barrier.

So the global security system already has my photo, my prints and my retina profile. So just stick them all together and send me an ID card. Then I don't have to listen to the irritating radio debates any more.
I think somebody would look very conspicuos wearing gloves in Tenerife SNAGGED>
also used because the police , well trafico are getting/have these finger print scanners at the roadside too.

anyways if youre a left handed genie and your blue face doesnt match the photo on the id card , did i mention that ?
lol

then the fact ur left handed or right wont really m,atter.

will it?

unless there are quick change artists that are committing robberies in your area ?
Question Author
Logic ...

... if someone has used both hands for lifting a telly ...

... won't they have taken the telly with them ?

rather than lifting it up, and then putting it down again and leaving it to be fingerprinted ?
