where to go in italy?

planning on going to italy for my 30th birthday for a long weekend, but don't know where to go as i never been.
does anyone have any good ideas?

Depends what kind of thing you want. I've been to Limone in Lake Garda and Lido di Jesolo in the Ventian Riviera - they're both lovely. The Lido has a gorgeous beach and Lake Garda is great for scenery/relaxing etc.

You could have a break in Milan, shop and do lunch and coffee and such and have a day out in Lake Como which is only an hour away on the train and stunning.
