maybe I will start monday whiskey as I have some nice soft rolls at mine for dinner, cant waste them can I?
Exactly, 4get, that's what weekends are all about. I couldn't possibly have started again last week as I had a family party last weekend and this week I knew I was having a few dinners out, etc, so this Monday it is... Damn my rubbish social life.
Question Author
so you are doing cereal diet this Monday?
Not the cereal one, 4get, just my usual. I need no restrictions as to what I can eat; it's hard enough as it is. :)
Question Author
whats usual diet then?
Anything as long as I stick to around 1200 calories per day, hun. If I tell myself I can't have a particular type of food, it's all I want. What a child, eh? :)

I was thinking of cutting out pasta, bread and potatoes
Blimey, 4get, I couldn't live without my carbs! Nightmare! :(
Oh dear, this is just a way for the cereal company to make money off you. It's sad. Of course it works- your bowl of cereal for lunch is about 250 cals, as is the breakfast one, and that means that you have about 500 cals plus for your dinner. You are basically just reducing your calorie intake in a simple way. You could do the Mars Bar diet (one for breakfast, half a one for lunch) or the lettuce diet (all the lettuce you want!) and you would still lose weight.

Like any diet the problems start when your body starts craving something else- cheese, bacon, eggs, bread, whatever. Restrictive diets never work. You are better off having cereal for breakfast, VARY what you have for lunch, and have loads of veg and protein for dinner.
Question Author
not really because I;m not buying the cereal from the people that advertised it. I dont like special K and by cheaper brands anyway. And yes I know its the calorie intake, just wondered if anyone had tried it. I dont eat that many calories anyway so dont think its gonna work, but I might aswell give it a go.
