I think the issue here is the naming of the little sproggs.

My God.
I don't know if it matters about the number of kids as such, what is the issue is that these people have been unskilled workers all their lives and so cannot even begin to earn the level of income necessary to support and house so many joint offspring. A hundred years ago when large families were more common, people woked for low wages but did not have aspirations of cars, holidays, washing machines etc, they coped and the priority was food and shelter, clothes were hand me downs and lasted . This family will be living with modern essintials that are infact luxuries on thier earning capacity.
makes me sick. especially when i recieved my payslip last month , i realised that id worked a full month and recieved 3 weeks pay because of the tax that was taken out to support these lazy ar$es.

100 years ago ?? .............im the youngest of 7 my dad always work to support us , he use to do a lot of over time . no working tax credits then ,we lived in a 3 bed house 9 of us .mad house it was most of the time . im only 35 so it was not that long ago

I was one of 8 and my father worked overtime too sleepy , mum did some seasonal work for some hours I recall too , to keep food on the table and clothes on our back and pay the rent. We lived in a 3 bedroom semi .
