All this talk of proposals etc doesn't half bring out the bitterness in us. If you aren't already married again, would you? Is your previous experience stopping you from doing it again? Personally I'm as happy as I could ever imagine with my partner, however, I get nervous about talk of weddings and happy ever afters. In my humble opinion I tried it once and I'm not very good at it so I don't want to tempt fate. I don't think she's disappointed that I won't marry her but I hope one day the bitterness will subside and I'll propose in a spectacular manner and surprise her one day. She might say no!! haha

Sometimes I dont see the point in it at all. If youre happy with your partner why do you need a piece of paper to tell you that.

Great point well made 4 get, wish I'd thought like that when I was shelling out cash for my wedding!

Redcrx, my divorce was friendly too. Still friends, in fact we all went to the circus together last night. It wasn't the divorce process that scares me. It was getting it wrong when I was so sure I'd got it right.

Legend, if you're fantasizing about Cher you're obviously WAY too old for me!! bwah ha ha :-P
you know how old i am.

you tease

tut tut
Did it once - vowed never again till I met Mr Sally (happily married for 8 months now!!)
If I could turn the clock back I would opt for a Vegas or romantic Hol wedding instead of a Church one. Too many issues with invites & Oh...you cant sit him by her.
As Mrs. Thatcher said
