I wanted to go watch the football this weekend, a round trip of approx 240 miles. I managed to get two tickets but my fella decided he didn't want to go! Yep I know really ungrateful! So I arranged to meet my brother in Sheffield and drove up there alone. Watched the match, spent a bit of time with my brother and came home.
Now my fella is sulking big time!
I really can't see what i've done wrong and have no intention of apologising or trying to talk him round.
Am I being selfish?

Is he a `green eyed monster` type?

Yep, can be! He did have the option of coming with me though and didn't want to.
There you go then, he thinks you`ve been playing away

In most cases it's normally the fella that goes off to watch the match and the woman gets left at home. Wouldn't you think that he'd appreciate the fact that I like the sport and go out of my way to support my team!! Oh well maybe it was never meant to be. I hate fella's that sulk!
Why is he sulking though? ffs I love it when my missus fooks off for the day with the kids
You have done nothing wrong, he is sulking because you did not cancel your trip and stay with him, it is a power thing , take no notice , he had the chance to go but tried to stop you going instead, he will only get worse if you give in ,
How old is this "man"? Send him back to nursery where he belongs. You are not being selfish he is. You stand your ground efc - men eh? Will we ever understand them? lol.

Thanks guys, I was beginning to feel quite guilty cos i'd left him behind. Don't anymore though!!
I think he's expecting an apology from me, but if so then he's gonna have a long wait. I'll just wait and see how long it takes him to ring me!
Totally don't back down. If he is sulking over this then i can only imagine how he must sulk on something really important. if you back down now then you'll live to regret it. He probably just wanted his decision to stick and you to stay with him. knowing you went and had fun makes him feel like a fool probably.
dony worry....
He obviously likes to keep tabs on you at all times. He sounds jealous and possessive. They're his issues, not yours, so tell him to deal with them and not to drag you down with him!
Yeah he sounds very controlling. Ive been there, I felt so restricted cos he was like that. Its your life too.
