I heard that about his mum too. I have tried to think of an episode she could have been in and Nanageddon seems to be the obvious one and its not her in that. She isnt credited as being in it.. to be honest I have no idea. Maybe in the stage show she was.

Goodsoulette and Pa___ul in Nanageddon when Naboo gets his powers taken away by the elders (or whatever they were) Noel Fielding's Mum plays the green faced witchy lady and Julian Barratt's dad is the older chap. And I think the little boy is Noel's cousin.
I'm sad, I watched all the episodes with the commentary because I love Howard Moon. And MIlky Joe.

i am writing a story about vampires and i need some background history, timelines, geography, religious, events etc etc.

any ideas of a good site?

nothing too 'wordy' just want the basic facts and figures and an overall history.
