We live in a world where something has to have come from some kind of source.

So if this is the case where does matter come from. What is before matter and what put it there.

Does this not indicate that there is some kind of higher being that has just always been there to have arrange the matter and make the world we live in today possible?

The most logical answer I can come up with is that being in this body form we cannon comprihend the fact that matter has always been there and it has come from nothing.

Maybe we have to be in a different form to understand this concept? I don't know but it seems to be the most logical answer to me.

....and something had to have created that higher being you are talking about. That didnt come from nowhere either. I had a christian upbringing and I got told it, swallowed it, grew up, started thinking for myself and found that believing in God didnt answer any of my questions.
I like your idea that maybe in another form we might get the answers to the universe, but the questions can never stop in my mind, it will always be and what created that. What is nothing? How can this be created from nothing? I dont get it. Drives me mad thinking about it.
So we/you can see it.

What next?
Yes izzymem, I totally agree, most people go sarky about God in their frothy ideas of intellect. They scorn anybody who dares to believe in God, because it's not Scientific.

No, of course it's not Scientific !!!! And it's not logical, anymore than getting a huge shiver from Mozart is logical.

Hello laurence, yes take it easy matey,

izzymem, The only thing I truly believe in is Nature.
izzymem, I think you are losing the plot!!

I am not the result of some god, that is my opinion, that is all I can give you.

If you are a believer then that is good.

And we are all happy

ratters you seem to think i am trying to convert you. im not saying follow god. god to me is the source of where we have come from. not a being we have to follow and worship. im from a muslim background, trust me i know religion is a bit F****D up.

goodsoulette, the thing that created us must have always been there. something has to have always just been there in order for there to be something in my eyes.
I believe in God!
So could it be nature then ? just a thought izzymem.
Question Author
nature. how do you mean?
" most people" ...sweeping statement indeed, whiffey .
it could be naturism?
Well I'm not happy. I was created and am here, I'm not sold on the idea of being annihilated and disappearing.

Let me ask - how many of you are comfortable with the idea that when you die you just cease to exist, entirely ? It's no use waffling on about living on in peoples memory, I mean, what is the sodding point if you have ceased to exist, nothing of you to know that you have ceased to exist.
Question Author
well then my questions to you raysparx1 would be where has the nature come from.

look every single thing in the universe, humans, nature, buildings and so on are made up of matter. matter compiled differently. you can destroy a buiding, burn a body but the matter will never be destroyed. how can you destroy matter? the answer is you cant. you can get it and cut it in half and it will spilt. if you continue to cut it then it will just simply divide.

so my question is what has put the matter there and what is controlling the matter to make all these forms of things?

something is doing it. because we are here as an example. this is my question!
so izzymem, whats the ''Matter'' with you?

Does it matter, that others don't care to matter, it only matters when you want it to matter, and thats a matter of fact.

well thats my matter of opinion.
Question Author
well no. it dont matter to me that you dont care. if u dont then u sud not be posting an answer and move on. this post is for people that are on the same boat to conclude something. even if it is a small insight. so if this does not matter to you then F**K off. Is that logical enough for you.
Matter has always been and always will be. It changes form and shape and like energy is never really lost only transformed. Nothing ever came in to being ,or out of being,or started ,with out an action. Going back into infinity there has to have been a motivating force. If you look around you it is obvious that nothing is random, there is a design and therefor must have had a designer. There could have been more than one but why complicate the concept more than is necessary. Call it God? the name does not matter Ghia perhaps. This planet had to have exactly the right conditions at the right time for mankind to evolve. Evolution can still /must have had a createrdesigner
Tut Tut Izzymem, now thats not the way to conduct ones self on here, if you don't like my responses to your thread, thats fine, it makes a bit of a mockery tho, for one who comes on here preaching the gospel, then tells one to Fcuk off

Naughty Naughty
Question Author
sorry. but you was asking for it.
i would'nt say i was asking for it, its just that this thread seems to be going around in circles, i think enough views have been given, your flogging a ''dead horse'' now
izzymem is not preaching the 'gospel' but raising thoughts that more of us ought to have. It's great going to the pub, shopping on Saturdays, days at the seaside, laughing at God-bogglers, until one day maybe you start to think, what is this all about ? And if you are happy to contemplate dying and disappearing from existence in entirety, then I am not, no way !!

So, where did the Universe come from in the first place ?
