Last night I was out with a mate and some pervy guy was dancing really close to us on and I kept moving away. I moved about 10 times to get away from him but he didn't seem to get it. He would come and dance close behind me. Then he tried it with my mate and she is abit shy and was mouthing the word 'help' to me so I grabbed her hand and took her away from him but he kept following us and he would't stop! I was getting so annoyed!

My Q is... surely thats some kind of harrassment? What would you have done?

You could begin by firmly telling him you are not interested and if he persists complain to a bouncer or the bar manager.

Or given him your phone number.......no seriously, maybe he was on day release....no seriously, he was probably deluded and drunk.;)

Well I'd have got a drink out of him 1st- then scarpered to the loos ;-)

It is a form of harrassment though, like fingerprint has already said you should have had a word in the bouncer's shell-like.

perhaps he was trying to tell you something but he had lost his voice and he was playing a game of charades with you and your friend!!

did he point at his ears at any time and bang 3 fingers on his forearm??

I would've snogged my mate and pretended I was a lesbian. Me and my best mate used to do that all the time until we realised that actually encourages some men!!!

Seriously, I'd just ignore it - you wouldn't have been the first nor the last and they soon get bored and move on to someone else.

...well how was i to know you werent interested...

hehe sorry...could resist

it is harrassment but i guess it is a part of clubbing. It can get quite annoying but some hguys just can't take a hint. My mates and i just find it quite funny now.
Anothr good one is to politelycomment how you boyfriend wouldn't be happy to see you dancing with another man. Although some guys don't get that either
my friend pulled on anight out and his mate kept dancing with me and pressing his obviously excited manhood into my back, i told him to f-off as i have a boyfriend, in the end i compalined to the bouncers who had a word and he left me alone, dont know what they said!
sometimes there is nothing you can do, any intimidation is seen as teasing and they get worse.
I'm a guy and I find that a knee in the happy-sacks is a lighning way to sober up.
kicked him in the nutz as hard as possible Rubyrose
Just shout "Go away you ugly pervert!" as loud as you can - embarassment works every time.

i say go away first if that doesn't work then i tell them to f*** off if that doesn't work a swift kick in b0ll0cks usually works or a smack in the nose depends how tall they are!! i'm only 5ft!! i broke someones nose once for getting to friendly, he was tryng to feel my boobs i told him do that again and i'd belt him, he did it again - i broke his nose!!

hi ruby,

I hate blokes like that, kick him in the nuts,he might understand that,on the other hand or nut,he might like it,but he should have got the hint before that, but seriously,if there is someone like him about never leave the club or pub on your own, take care, Ray xx

Blokes can be hard to get through to at the best of times, esp when drunk but the words of a 6' bouncer as wide as he is tall tend to permeate through the thickest cloud of alcohol. I wouldn't recommend a kick in the nuts in case the bouncers throw you out and he follows. Remember, as Mr Motivator used to wisely say 'It's a wicked world out there.'
I usually stop dancing until they either get the hint or say something, then I tell him in no uncertain terms that I do not want to dance with him!!

Only once this hasn't worked so that time I went & spoke to the bouncers just seeing me approach them was enough for the guy to get the message.
You could always have turned round and asked him if would like to go home with you to meet your hubby and kids!!
