How Strange. It's supposed to be good for your well being. I know people take green tea pills when slimming. Perhaps someone with enlighten you. I started drinking it yesterday and I can't say it tastes too good.

Its lovely, but I often find the tea bags can taste a bit dusty. Leave are much better.

Have a look at this for health benefits.

I enjoy a cup of gren tea and orange by the London tea company. You can get it from Holland and Barrett.

Green tea is supposed to be very high in anti-cancer causing anti-oxidants. It's also supposed to detox your system.

PS...i always drink mine with a teaspoon of sugar just to take the bitterness off it.
im afraid ur son is attempting to poison you .... maybes hes after the life insurance or the house. hehehe only teasing!

Thanks everyone for your answers, having had my first cup i dont think it tastes too bad, infact found it very refreshing, perhaps my taste buds are not to good. Is there a limit to how many cups you can drink per day?
Green tea also contains loads of vitamin C so thats good also, one problem though - some people have digestive upsets when first using this tea and can get diarrhrea, if you persist your system will get used to it and settle down.
our daughter is trying to get US on green tea and has bought us two containers of different tasting flavours from Witchards, then she bought us more from Tesco. Even though I have the worst cold I've ever had, I can pick up the varying tastes. As to whether or not I'm enjoying it, we shall have to see when my cold is better and my taste buds have returned to normal.
