This news never pleases cat lovers who don't want to acknowledge that their lovely, furry friends would do such things as kill birds, rabbits, mice etc, for no reason at all.
I have backed off threads about cats because this is obviously a sensitive subject, on both sides. However, the OP mentions National Cat Day and people should be fully aware just what cats are capable of. It's not a one-way street.
