It's more likely that I would say that to my husband Smow because I have a quick temper and can lash out verbally. Does he really mean it? I really never do. Is this a new experience for you or does he often say nasty things?

Why would he say something like that? Was it out of the blue or had something happened beforehand, Smow? Either way, it's belittling and spiteful.

Seems as though this has happened before having read the responses. I really don't know what to suggest but I wouldn't put up with it. And you've got enough to deal with, with your ailments.
