My late friend left me a very old carriage clock which I disliked then when I visited and still do, it may be of some value I’ve no idea but it had stopped, I put it on top of the chest of drawers in our bedroom and the fist thing I saw when waking up this morning it was showing the right time , My OH knew I didn’t like the damn thing and when he brought my coffee in I said it was spooky how it is showing the right time all of a sudden ( she died last August)
Oh, I put new batteries in it yesterday said he, Arghhhhhhh

Good idea Hoppy , it has a tiny blue dot one bottom of the square face and 100 years , I was curious and checked what it meant, it was 100 years of Blue Circle inc.
