What a miserable day. It's hammering down with rain, and blowing a gale. I am bored to tears. Watching Columbo for the twentieth time, even though I love it. Hope it's better tomorrow, I have to go out, that's assuming my car will start. I feel like a right old misery.

Its miserable here too, Bobbi. Supposed to do a good shop soon. Might put it off till tomorrow. My OH, has just come in from refereeing a football match. He looks like a drowned Rat!.. He had two games yesterday, it was so cold out there. He is 70, and still running around like a 2 year old :-)

I know how you feel. I've just got back from a dog walk and my hair looks like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards !! The trouble is I have to go out again in a bit, meeting friend for Sunday lunch ! God only knows what I'm going to do with my hair, it looks beyond redemption ...

We were expecting downpours and high winds here but it looks like it’s hit the midlands before us, we have light showers yet my sister in law lives about 4 mile always says it throwing it down there, weird

Heavy rain and extremely windy here on the IOW. But, I’m happy. I’ve just eaten a chocolate bar:-)

I think it's because I don't like Sundays. I hardly ever speak to anyone on Sundays. I had a cataract op last week, and I haven't driven my car for over a week, it's an oldie so I don't know if it will start. Sorry to sound so miserable just feel fed up . Thanks for replies, I bet lots of us feel the same. David I have just eaten a little cadburys cream egg. Mm

I feel the same today Bobbi but I’ve got engrossed in the Winter Olympics which is passing the time. I also gave a jigsaw to do and the papers to read. Oh. And there’s always that tapestry I bought last winter and did about ab inch of!!

It's been raining here too and just looks miserable outside. Can't go anywhere as we're isolating due to little Tigs testing positive on Wednesday. He was supposed to go to his dads last night for half term but can't now. I'm fed up too.

I knew it was hoing to be horrendous here all day...the South West...so I decided it would be a day for warm comfy clothes, doing very little. I will get the Hoover out shortly as the cat has just kicked litter beyond the puppy pad that sits under the tray. I'll eat what I like and browse Pinterest and the houseplants and interiors forums on Reddit. That's what I do when telly is boring ;)
It's chilly here as my window behind the sofa faces West...and that's where the wind is coming from. That's my only moan at the moment. It's far worse if you can't get out and haven't in a while...or must get out.
I hope your car starts tomorrow and the weather is kind to you.

I try hard to pretend I’m looking forward to work tomorrow like maybe I’m learn something etc

Maybe plan a diet/exercise schedule to make you feel better about yourself/the future..

I don't tend to do much I am old not in the best of health, I do have friends, but don't tend to see anyone on Sundays. I am hoping to go out tomorrow. I will have a coffee, bit of shopping and talking to friends. That will be ok.

I just remembered. The lovely cream eggs used to be 3 pence when my kids were young. Lol
