Just received an email from the Theatre Royal in Glasgow to inform me that the production of Les Miserables on the 28th December has been postponed. I know, better safe than sorry, but to say I'm disappointed would be an understatement; been looking forward to this for months.

I feel sorry for the performers and the theatre workers. Theatre has has an awful time.
How awful Maggie. What a treat that would have been. Hopefully the production will be up and running soon .

Agree Naomi, just when things were starting to open up, we're closed down again. Pantos will be hard hit.
Really sorry to read that. Have you seen it before? One of my all time favourites.
Thought we'd be in the same boat but just found out our trip to see Dara O'Briain has been moved from January to April.

Yes gness, have seen it in London and Edinburgh. This was a Christmas present for a dear friend but.............ah well, it will be all the better for the wait.
It will. In a way, although we were looking forward to a night out when we booked, we'll have better weather for hoiking over the mountains in the dark and bad weather.
Those poor people working that show! They were on tour to our local theatre when they were closed down last year. Its rebooked for next year, 2 years later, but will it happen? Or will the talented cast be back to finding casual work elsewhere best they can all over again?
Oh what a shame.
Disappointment is one of the worst emotions...
Hope it can go ahead soon.
