I'm making cottage pie, vegetables and gravy.

I might make my fiery-hot soup later too. I put a whole bag of Birds' Eye Chillies in the last batch. I've got to send the lurgy packing.

LCG, I identify with that using every pan and surface. I'm dreadful. A former neighbour once popped round when I was cooking and asked Mr BM "what's she making now?". He responded "a f***** mess".

Sounds nice, Rowan. I've just got very low intake overall at the moment. My appetite has gone on vacation. I still love cooking for the men in life though.

I did manage a bowl of porridge yesterday morning and really enjoyed that.
Just stick to what you fancy, I don't really enjoy eating since the long covid, can taste very little even after about 18 months.
I've got a Moroccan lamb shank in the slow cooker. Loaded with garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander and harissa paste. No idea what I'll have with it or when it will be falling off the bone. There's ham and cheese to tide me over in the meantime.
That sounds nice Pasta!! I am having a roasted chicken, with pigs in blankets.
All the trimmings followed by trifle and wine!!
We're having roast beef, yorkies, roast spuds, roast parsnips, leeks, carrots and peas with red onion and wine gravy. Then treacle pud and custard.
I'm making pork and apple burger for today's dinner. I really don't fancy them though.
Cod loin wrapped in bacon (Lidl special) with cauliflower cheese and roasted new potatoes. Like you LCG I've had the super cold that's being doing the rounds and it really floored me for nearly 3 weeks. Is your kitchen finished now?
Himself is having bacon cheeseburgers and I am having scampi
We are having roast partridge with saute potatoes and red cabbage, served with a nice Malbec. Dessert is apple and strawberry crumble ( I make the topping with rice flour) and cream.
As my mum used to say - sliver and shark's teeth!
pizza and cookies
^^Cod loin wrapped in bacon (Lidl special) ^^
Was looking at this, it looks tasty.
Seems like the great british 'sunday dinner roast' is in decline. I thought everyone had roast beef and yorkshires on a Sunday in England :o)
Gammon with pineapple, baby potatoes, pak choi and peas, followed by peaches and vanilla yoghurt.
Just a mac cheese here loaded with toms....out to work this evening
APG I would do the roast but it’s pointless for 1 plus with the move we are using up the contents of the freezer
Cheese and tomato on toast, followed by either a Costco scone or a tangerine. Or both.
Starter is a glass of red from an M&S meal deal, rather nice.
Redhelen, I’m making a start onusing up freezer stuff tomorrow, to make room for Christmas stuff.
I’m already starting to panic as we have various family members coming, at various times and staying for various times, over the festive period.
Much as I love them all, I just wish someone else would do Christmas and give me a break. Nice to be loved though :)

Sorry, I got stuck downstairs cooking and lost all track of time.

The Kitchen side of the room is practically finished MT. I honestly can't remember what pics I've posted and what I haven't but our Sofa will be with us shortly. We haven't assembled the dining table, bench or chairs yet but over the next couple of weeks I daresay we'll crack it.

We'll get the hallway flooring laid soon and then we can finish the skirtings and paper up the stairs. Carpet is ready now, but we're not quite ready for the carpet. I just keep telling myself, "this time next year...."
