i haven't got any cream, are there any home remedies you can suggest.
Lavender oil
Sounds like you've had excessive local reactions, which can be a sign that you've got low levels of Vitamin D. The lower your Vitamin D levels are, the worse you're like to react to insect venom or any other type of allergen.

Treatment with antihistamines is the usually the best way to find relief and a cream called Anthisan can be applied directly to the lump / bite.

Question Author
ok thanks, will get some when i go out later.
Emmie, unless you're on high strength supplementation, I very much doubt your Vit D levels are okay. The majority of the population are in the insufficiency or deficiency range and the darker your skin tone, the worse it will be.

I was well established on Vitamin D when I got Covid and I barely got symptoms. At the time I got pneumonia I hadn't taken any for a good three months.

My energy levels and sleep pattern and even my IBS have improved immeasurably since I started taking it.
Question Author
thanks Lcg, will discuss with doctor on thursday when he phones
Question Author
doesn't being in the sun help with Vitamin D?
Yes it does, Emmie, in the summer. Also from diet especially red meat and oily fish. It's also been added to a lot of cereals
Question Author
i confess to being in the sun as much as possible - helping my vitamin D i hope....
