Will there be any wine to spark things up a bit?
Question Author
Nope. Trying to stay off booze to give this jab the best chance.
However, gin doesn’t count, so I’m having a G&T instead ;)

What about you bookbinder, what’s on your menu this evening, and will it include wine?
Doing Mr Smow gammon steak, egg, crispy potatoes and veg. Had planned to eat it too but not feeling great still after yesterday’s jab so not sure about me...
salmon quiche and some veg. OH wants pasta with cheese sauce and pancetta. Both nice and easy.
Tonight, it's homemade fish (haddock), chips, mushy peas. A cup of tea is the accompanying drink. I'm looking forward to it.
Left over lamb mince and aubergine curry, to which I will add more chillies as it wasn't hot enough. Maybe some roast cauliflower too. A glass of Jammy Red Roo on the side.
Same as you Vagus, but veggie version. We're completely snowed in here and enjoying proper comfort food this week! The vegetables will run out around Thursday, so it'll be store cupboard recipes, frozen and tinned from then onwards.
Cajun chicken, mixed spicy grains, helda beans and cauliflower. Cold lager.
Tesco Finest 1/4 pounder beef burger, roast pots, mixed veg, & beef gravy, with a little sweet mustard on the side.
Wild Alaskan salmon, roasted red pointy peppers and probably some cous-cous.
Sprouts have an unfortunate effect on me.
