Just to let you know I'm going on Friday for my first vaccination. I know some of you ask if anyone has had theirs yet, so I am now booked in.

Good luck with it. I had the AstraZenica one last Thursday. I had most of the "most common" reactions afterwards but that only lasted 24 hours. Still, better than having covid!
Lovely, really pleased for you Barsel
Excellent .
Can I ask what group u in? For eg over 70, healthcare workers, vulnerable etc?

My Husb is group 4 (medically vulnerable) so keen to know (he’s been told likely early to mid feb)
Hello Barsel. We had ours on Saturday and all went smoothly. So pleased to hear your news. Xx
We are in the over 70 group.
Well done. I had the Pfizer jab two weeks ago. Felt a bit achy for a few hours, and felt very tired the following day, known side effects.
Just happy to have had it, but will still take care for some time to come yet.
I was very tired all day yesterday and slept and slept. Felt a bit groggy, but I often do with my health problems. Fine today.
I had mine on Saturday, later that evening I had what I can only describe as a burning sensation in my mouth, not sure if it was anything to do with the vaccine, never heard of anyone else experiencing that, it didn’t last very long, other that that I’ve been fine.
Had the astrazeneca one.

I come under the over 70's extremely vulnerable, (shielding). Can I ask those of you who have had it, did they say when your next one would be? Three ladies in my Close have had both their jabs only waiting 3 weeks in between.
My friend (75) has had her first jab with no ill effects. Not sure when her next one is due. I'm 74 so expect to hear any day now.
Eve, I think when you get it depends on where you live. There seems to be a great deal of discrepancies. We were lucky here because our medical centre was the first to get it in Norfolk, so they are well ahead. I hope you get yours soon.
Well done.

Apc2604 at what point do you know which one you are going to have? My GP has told me she would prefer me to have the Astrazeneca one as I had anaphylaxis about 13 yrs ago.
Our second one is booked in for 17 April. We won't be doing anything different now and won't be going to any raves even after the second one! We will be remaining cautious.
Pleased for you Barsel. I was lucky enough to have both Pfizer jabs - last one first week in Jan. No ill effects at all - not even a sore arm. Hope all goe well.
I checked on the day Barsel, but I knew previously because I have allergies and had asked my doctor.
I was not told when my next one will be. My Dad had his first jab on 18 December and has been told by his GP that the second one should be early in March. I was told which vaccine I was having as the doctor injected me. A friend who had hers at the same location but the day after me had the Pfizer one. Just depends on what they have on the day I suppose.

Eve , it depends on all sorts of things. My brother is 83yrs old, 9 yrs older than me and he has only just had his first one. He lives in Cumbria.
Apc2604 is having to wait until April 17th for the second one and yet 3 of my neighbours only waited 3 weeks between jabs.
