Only in moderation Zac or there'll be a full house of Alkies :0)
Yes , I'm on here a lot more because of this enforced incarceration LJ :0/
Of course, Bobbi. I could just sit here and sip at a bottle of Malbec tho. Eeek.

Chat, Kate and I both chat and laugh a lot.
Tash, Nat and Nisha are home evenings and weekends, nowhere is quiet when they're about, it's good fun.
Apart from working from home during the week I'm:

1. Helping lil Tigs with school work
2. Watching reaction videos on YouTube - young people/millenials in the US discovering Led Zep, Queen, PF, Beatles etc. Very addictive.
3. Watching Netflix and Amazon prime
4. Eating far too much
5. Playing Township. Also addictive.
I'm hoping to start to paint my bedroom in the next few weeks. Not sure I can move the bed enough, but there's no one to notice. I'm waiting for my winter mood to lighten up a bit.
I've got loads of books to read, I just need to break the spell of the internet. I'm also thinking of getting a jigsaw puzzle or 2. I put a few on my Amazon wish list last week.
What's a clippy mat, bobbi?
go on here for a little while, not as much as i used to. Meeting a friend for a takeout coffee in a bit, get meds whilst im out.
such excitement ........
I'm here a lot more than normal, normally finish after GMEB thread but not much to do, you can only read the papers once, or twice to make sure you didn't miss something.
Hi naomi, if you watched the series "when the boat comes in" you would know.

It is a rug made from cut up bits of material, presumably a sacking back and small squares of material pushed through.
Is that a patchwork quilt type thing, Sparkly?
We used to call them rag rugs.
They’re generally called a ‘tab rug’.
I'm doing more crosswords and lots more quizzes (costs a fortune in stamps), watching more documentaries too.
Must be tiggs, I only found out what they from When the boat comes in series. Mrs Seaton made them and sold them in her shop, great series, still on youtube.
read the online news but that doesn't stay on long as its so dire. stopped watching tv, or listening to the radio for now.
read, watch telly, sort out the house, do a bit in the garden, craft....pretty much the same as before.
Crafting...... so far have knitted three throws and a floor rug, a waistcoat, lots of hats and scarves for charity, five shawls and a blanket, made two dresses, three rag dolls, one embroidered patchwork quilt, and painted two large canvasses. I have made over a hundred greetings cards, and a batch of bookmarks. Have to keep busy or I go crazy.
Ok.

I only know them as patchwork quilts. I made one when I was a kid.
