I'd rather them discuss urgent ways of more vaccination, restrictions are not working, the shops are rammed with Christmas shoppers. They should be now vaccinating 24/7.

On one of the earlier threads there were several posts from people sayaing how empty the supermarkets were.

there is a list of who gets what vaccination isn;t there. Mine isn't due for months according to one post.

I'm pretty certain that on Boxing Day the rest of the country will go to tier 4, which is in effect lockdown again. So long as he doesn't do it for Christmas Day as me and my friends have a meal booked at a local hostelry !

We are in tier 2 in Warrington so pubs can serve 'substantial' meals and nothing is more substantial than Christmas Dinner !

Boris needs to forget the deal and accept an extension with the EU, and get on with the real urgent issue of vaccination. That's if he's got a brain cell still active. Opps my opinion only.

UK health secretary to lead press conference this afternoon
Health Secretary Matt Hancock will lead a Downing Street press conference at 15:00 GMT, when he is expected to announce changes to some tier restrictions in England.

He will be joined by deputy chief medical officer Dr Jenny Harries and Dr Susan Hopkins of Public Health England.
