Who Turned The Lights Out

don't know what it's like where you are but it's so dark can hardly see,
the rain is coming down so hard that it's turned the sky black.

Its a lovely fresh bright but cold day here in Teesdale. Yesterday it was as dark as night by 4pm.

It was chucking it down earlier. My conservatory roof is leaking.

West Yorkshire: it's been very varied so far today. One minute the rain's like a waterfall, with very dark clouds, and the next, the sun is so bright (in a blue sky) that I've had to close the vertical blind to avoid being dazzled.

Just had a thunder storm here (Bedfordshire) with torrential rain and high winds, the sky was almost black. Only lasted about 15 minutes thank goodness but it was frightening.
