My daughter has just booked for us and them to fly to Dublin £9-99, at the end of August, something to look forward to, been once when we stayed in Belfast and we went there on the 'bullet' train , got a kind daughter :0)

At the moment, I think travel from the UK means a 14 day quarantine in Ireland. I hope that’s lifted for you before you go.

Yes Bobby, anyone travelling from the UK to Ireland is supposed to quarantine for 14 days. That’s why we can’t visit family in Dublin this year :(

Fingers crossed they’ll loosen it by the time you go, but if cases go up here that’ll be unlikely. I’ll see if I can find a link for you.

Current requirements - 14 day restriction of movement on arrival


'All arrivals from overseas, including Irish residents, are asked to restrict their movement for 14 days on arrival. This means staying at home and avoiding contact with other people and social situations as much as possible. There is more information on restricting movement on the Irish Government’s website.'
