What’S Getting Served Up This Evening?

We are having sweet and sour pork with noodles. Last night we had pizza, sounds like we’ve been going through the local takeaways but its all homemade.

Tomorrow will be a plate of full of indulgence, beef fillet with peppercorn sauce, rosti potatoes and a veg medley. Might do a starter or canapés and a pud as I have a bad case of the munchies at the moment!

Well we are off out to see Ed Byrne tonight so its an early dinner - he had cheese and ham stuffed croissants and I had baked goats cheese drizzled with balsamic glaze.
Although I could see us stopping off at MaccieD on the way home for a wee top up.

Hoping our ostrich will defrost in time, if it does we'll have it with chips, roasted tomatoes, peas and a mild mustard sauce.

Earlier we had bacon sarnies, then mushroom and cheese omelette.

I'm on a hungry day.

We decided to let the take-away take the strain this evening.

They had mac and cheese with smoked bacon, I'm having a pizza. Tomorrow it's toad in the hole with veg and gravy (don't know what I'm having).

He will have one of the new big macs - I will have a kiddies cheese burger of which the bread will go to the dogs!!

Beef Stroganoff, wheatberries with rainbow vegetables, helda beans (with a Bordeaux Superieur to quaff)....and tiramisu.

I fancy toad in the hole but I’m not getting any eggs at the moment and am loathe to buy any.

I achieved the near impossible last weekend, a mediocre curry from the curry triangle in Birmingham!

Peasant food for me tonight....an old Saturday night favourite from my teen years.

Sausages and Cheesy Mash, with fried button mushrooms, and maybe some fried red onion.

But I have a Lemon Drizzle cake in the oven, so some of that, hot, with custard for afters.

All served with a lovely glass of cider !
