I was thinking the same Tilly :-)
Question Author
It looks like she's flown away, again, Toorak. :-)
It does indeed
Question Author
I wanted to talk to her about the peregrines.
Oh shucks, thank you Tilly and Toorak, you're very kind.

Peregrines Tilly, I'm all ears. Which ones are you watching at the moment? If you put a link up I'll go straight there.
Question Author
They're not there at the moment but they have been around, often.

Eggs on the way very shortly, I think.
Yes...there was a thread wondering where you were, LB....but Tilly was getting in a tizzy between your whereabouts and welfare and the ospreys at Rutland.....nice to see you...xx
Ooops I'm flitting between here and Tim and Prue on the canal in the Usk Valley.

Thanks Tilly, that's me hooked again now. I shall watch with interest.

Cheers gness (always have to go back and change from guess to gness, ***** predictive text).

As I said, it's nice to see you back. I'm going to look for Goshawks tomorrow!

I saw a Goshawk when we were in South Africa, recently. It was impressively massive and fearsome!
I am looking forward to the ospreys returning - just a few weeks to go...
I was watching a Goshawk earlier this evening on Hugh Fearnly Wotsit's Wild West Programme on BBC2. Amazingly agile whizzing through the branches, twisting and turning. So impressive. Where do you hope to find one Tilly?
Oh gosh, yes the Ospreys, that was sad last year wasn't it if I remember correctly. In Scotland I think we were watching?
It was loch garten - so sad

The loch of the lowes pair survived
Question Author
The New Forest is where the Goshawks' nest is. Will have a look at the web cam.

It'll be a while before the ospreys return. Lots to look at before then. Lovely.
Question Author
Tilly - that is stunning! What a beautiful bird :-)
Question Author
It took my breath away. :-)
That's right Toorak, Loch Garten of course. Better luck this time I hope.

Yes Tilly, the one I was watching earlier was massive, the king of the forest I think, which made it all the more amazing at how agile they are. Lucky you.
Question Author
We saw some amazing animals and birds, LB, but I don't want to be boring and go on about them. :-)

I am lucky to have been able to experience that.
A goshawk flying through trees is a breath taking sight....

I have missed seeing waxwings this year though...x
