Last month a friend of my family here died suddenly......two days later his numbers came up in a lottery....almost ten grand.....

Bit like MrG who frequently won a few pounds on Premium Bonds but won £1,000 the month after he died...... :-)

oh gawd, yes.
Sometimes it even grabs you by the throat whilst slapping with the other.

Wouldn't it be nice and decent if the next-of-kin received the money?

(I'm an optimist)

The did, Alba..... :-)
yippee!!

(am sorry for the loss of your friend and Mr G) x
Gness, I was involved in administering estates for years. Very often premium bonds would be left in the draw for a year after death. I was constantly amazed at the number of people who won in the months after their death.

I have always thought I would fake my own death and see if my numbers come up.

Thanks, Alba......x

Really, BM?......I left MrG's in for the year....luckily....

Now, about this faking death idea.......we could perhaps come to some arrangement?..... ;-)
Some years back, a friend of mine won a chunk of the lottery and lost his ticket. Sometimes seems as tho theres certainly a cosmic joker at large...
Can't help but agree. If everything is going swimminly -watch out!
