I cannot believe that one year ago I lost my lovely mum.

We had our moments but I still loved her with all my heart.

I miss her everyday but she would be proud of how well I'm doing. I've learnt a lot in the last year and I feel I learn something else everyday. I can now confidently run a house, look after dad and myself and 6 cats and go out to work.

You guys have been absolutely amazing this last year and without you I wouldn't have been able to do half the things I have.

Thank you - mum will be so happy knowing that you have all been there to support me in my hour of need. She introduced me to the AB family and I am so glad she did.

Love to you all

" without you I wouldn't have been able to do half the things I have"
Yes you would queen, because we have no choice but to carry on and do est we can. Emotionally it helps to talk to others though x

Yes, you would queenie. You are your mums daughter. She gave you the fighting spirit and downright stubbornness to fight on. You can be proud of yourself my lovely. You will always miss your mum, but she will never leave you.

It was a pleasure to meet you and I hope we can meet again. Keep up the good work sweetheart! You're an amazing, and delightful, young lady and an example to us all.

Bunkmoreland I shall be thinking of you today too. You have been amazing this last year helping me with my Panics and I am really grateful.

Same to you Oz!

I'm sure we can maybe manage something Boaty. Not 100% sure what the plans are this year but will sort something. Someone wants to make a de-tour! lol I get the stubbornness off her alright Boaty...runs down her side of the family haha!

It is hard to believe that it is a year ago.

You will always miss her, but you know she is watching over you with a very proud heart.

You have done really well, and we are lucky to have you as an AB member.
Thank you, queen. We're glad to have you. I lost my mum in 1990 and still talk to her, by the way.
I hope my daughter copes as well sweetheart. You have braved this past year so well. Even as a 64 year old it was the toughest year of my !ife. Be proud xxx

Its been a horrendous year but the only way is up from here xx
You've done amazingly well, shows just how good you Mum was - any support you have had from the wonderful people on AB has been a bonus.x
Question Author
It has indeed mamya, but I am grateful for it though xx
Gawd, to think it was approaching a year that I made the hike north to see you and hopefully help you - with Albs, Minty and Mazie....your Mum was a special woman - and so you will be, as you are finding your own feet in life. You can't replace her, never, but you are a hell of a chip off the old block and with your own personality........

Enjoy your next year - and you will never forget Mum; it's just more about seeing things in perspective - to what you think is important and then borrowing off how she would have seen things too.
Stay strong, queenie. You are doing well all things considered.
