So do they ask what your politics are and what your income/wealth are when they take you into A& E?
"there was no cause for concern that would have highly prioritised being moved up the list."
So he was wrongly prioritised. Very sad. But I don't see how you can make a political point out of it

\\\\He would have received attention if he'd been a Tory Toff.\\\

Absolutely Canary, I keep advising you to vote Tory, but you pay little or no attention to my good advice.

Reading your link it does appear the poor man had a number of problems including alcohol related ones, I find it very difficult to understand how that could be brought about by the Tories (God bless 'em all).
He would have received attention if he'd been a Tory Toff.
Would that have included Jeremy Hunt?
>>>He would have received attention if he'd been a Tory Toff.

What a totally stupid thing to say.
I've been hospitalised under Labour, the Lib/Cons, and the Tories....can't say I noticed much difference to be honest.
what do you expect to see from a canary with
a huge yellow streak down its back..seems like another mikey...more bitter please !
//He would have received attention if he'd been a Tory Toff.//

Perhaps it had to be a 'Tory Toff' because all the Lefties are going private these days.
I note that a witness at the inquest stated that no help was forthcoming in A&E when it was requested and that all the other members of staff carried on doing whatever they were engaged in as the poor fellow was having a seizure. Wicked Tories all of em.
Why shouldn't Canary use the words 'Tory toff'? Labourites get panned on this site as well !
The report says "A post-mortem examination found “therapeutic amounts” of drugs used to deal with alcohol withdrawal and anxiety and depression in Mr Day’s system. The cause of death was listed as unnatural due to drug toxicity."

Where his political sympathies lay, A&E wouldn't know (or care) I think.
Maybe there is a constant problem with the amount of people needing hospital treatment and the number of hospitals/hospital staff available?

Well, I'm going to wear a topper from now on, in case I have an accident.
So from this logic Tories never die. Seems good enough reason to vote Tory.
Canary, the same question I asked on your other 'Toff' thread. Can you please define what you mean by 'Toff'?
Voting for the Tories does not make you a Toff ... maybe a Toff Wannabe?
Toff Wannabee - is that made with bananas?
