1. My dad, having been rushed to hospital and diagnosed as having had a full-blown stroke, has been re-diagnosed with severe migraine after further radiological investigations failed to support the stroke diagnosis and he's now been discharged. :)

2. Going away with the man slave next Wednesday. After 4 months I rather fear he's starting to grow on me...

3. My increased intake of tomatoes and cucumber (for their diuretic properties) has done wonders for my water retention and banished my under-eye circles.

Absolutely, Prudie. He only turned 65 this week and his best friend died suddenly that day. I think perhaps the shock of losing his mate so suddenly brought on the migraine. He had loss of power and function in both legs and he was slurring pretty badly and was unable to touch his nose with his finger. Mum and I were beside ourselves.
Good news about your dad...

1) I am getting through my DIY list.

2) Def going to book the holiday for his 40th next month.

3) Booking holiday means new clothes :-)

4) Waiting for another baby cousin to be born...

5) My son has become obsessed with Game of Thrones which means he will be the perfect child until he's finished.

Ummmm, you absolutely MUST have a new wardrobe for your holiday :)
Hi!

BOTH legs involved would give a clue that it wasn't a stroke.

Going away eh!.....look good, smell good (as you will), laugh, a bottle of wine and some good food.

Let me come and help you choice your clothes for packing..........
1. I had six pups last night.......!
NoM, that is such good news about your Dad. Very similar happened to my 30-year-old neice - they thought she'd had a stroke, but it turned out to be migraine, we'd never heard of this aspect of migraine before.

Have a good hol with the man slave - where are you off to?
My reasons

My car's going again, having stopped - new battery, but it's full of beans now
OH has just got in from a trip to Sweden
It's not raining

Sqad, my darling. That's very good of you x

Hey Boxy, we're doing one night in a posh hotel on the coast with 3-course dinner for his birthday and then 3 nights up in the lakes. We're discussing either India or Croatia for later in the year.

Well done, shoota!
note to self, read properly, Shoota did not have 6 pints last night.

Wonderful Shoots, xx
Congratulations to mum, any ideas for naming any of them yet?
