I am a very happy bunny at the moment. At lunch time my doctor rang me (I know so unexpected) and told me he had now received a report saying that the leak from heart to lungs had been remedied. Still have pain in the are but nothing wrong can be found. I am so pleased.

Any happened to make any of you joyful?

Great news LJ - am so pleased for you. As has been said, chronic pain can be soul destroying. I’ve been in tears many a time with it these fast few months. On a separate note - you saying that your doctor rang you on a Saturday, I was also really surprised when one of my hospital consultants called me last Sunday. That was a first for me! Once again, am really pleased for you x

Thank you all for your good wishes. As you can imagine I am delighted. Now to find out what is causing the pain. I expect it's just old age. I think doc deserves a clap for ringing me on a Saturday. Perhaps he had enough of decorating his Christmas tree.
Having spent the last seven years in and out of hospital and visiting hospital for OH it is starting to look a little bit more rosie.

Again thank you all for your thoughts and wishes.
Like bad pleurisy. My back feels bruised but there is no bruising on the outside. Hope that is clear. Leaves you rather short of breath.

Exactly my symptoms, Lady j.
All I have had is a ultrasound scan and an X-RAY.

long covid the doc says...yet I had these symptoms long before I caught covid.

That's interesting Roy as I haven't had covid (I have had so many tests that have all been negative) but I have had pleurisy so know how it feels. I wonder what I can blame it on? Old age?
Can be old age for me as I'm only in my very, very, late 30's lol
Good to hear your news LJ. Mine is that I’m going to cuddle my new granddaughter this afternoon.

Wish I could think of something to help you Smow. I know you have had a lot of pain and discomfort for a while. I do hope medics find a cure or at least some relief for you soon.
Really pleased for you Lady-J., also for Emmie getting home again. I just hope that Smow will soon feel better too.
