Not everyone has a smily facy - try smiling with your eyes as you walk about, it's better than looking grumpy.

Just smile and say thank you

You could always Smile!
Just pack up your troubles in an old kit bag and......
Follow the example of W C Fields:
Start the morning with a smile and get it over with.
Smiling is simple.

Really simple; just like typing a question on here.

Try again !
Yeah, when people say, 'Smile, it'll never happen'....it usually does. Just walk away.

How many people say this to you in an average day?

do what you feel comfortable with, Im not sure why its important to strangers how your facial expressions are unless you work in a customer facing role
If your thoughts are good thoughts, them that ask you to smile, sod them,

Hang a sign round your neck saying, "I will kill the next person who asks me to smile."
Tell them you're smiling on the inside:-)
My face in repose isn't at all smiley, it hovers between appearing glum and thoughtful. I have spent my life getting irritable with the 'smile; it'll never happen brigade', I'm over forty now and some people still try the line on me.....newbies only do it once though these days.......
Just say "make me"
This is what Eccles does to those who dare ask.........
