is rubbish.

I have been ill for almost 2wks....no point in going to Dr yet. Haven't left house.

I am sleeping for the world, I am vomming for the world, every part of me hurts, I have a bruise on my hand from banging it off the wall with the pain the other part of vomming brings..not going for the TMI here !

I have only ever had the flu once before. I now recall I thought I was on the way out...

I wonder how elderly/infirm people cope....it must be scary for them :(

Bless anyone who is also sufferring (if it helps) x

Sounds bloody awful.

Are you keeping anything down? Fluids?
Oh how dreadful, you should be coming through it after two weeks. Agree with Ummmm be careful you don't get dehydrated - maybe a call to the surgery after so long ?
If you're not eligible for the free flu jab next year it would be worth paying for one in Boots. I think they're about 14 or 15 quid. It could be money well spent.
£7 in Asda had mine 2 weeks back.

No-one was there when I replied..apologies.

I'm not keeping much down to be honest, i'm on immodium, just for a break.

Wish i'd got a flu jab.

I feel dastardly. i'm not a GP person but i'm struggling with this. I really dont know how fragile people cope, it really is awful. Just awful..

Thanks everyone x
I long have you been vomiting for?

Question Author
Over 2wks now...not the best way to lose weight.
You really need to see your GP. You shouldn't be vomiting for that amount of time xx
Poor you, it sounds awful. As suggested it might be worth a call to your surgery. I hope you feel better soon.
Are you sure its flu, vomiting for that amount of time sounds a lot. Keep drinking water or get some of the rehydration drinks from the chemist as they replace the lost salts etc. See your GP.
Question Author
I'm scared to go to my GP...how sad is that? Thats how ill I feel.

Thank you, all of you, just trying to keep my mind of it I suppose...bury my head in the sand more like.

I'll go and see him...I have to be brave !
If you are that ill can you not ask for a home visit?
Do be brave, better to see the doctor than continue feeling ill.
Question Author
No...i'll manage. I don't like fuss plus a home visit is like hens teeth now. Thanks all...really...had a moment there, i'll be fine, I think ;) xx
I don't think you should be vomiting so much with flu, phone gp tomorrow.
Question Author
Just an add on...but worth a try for advice before I gven an A-Z to my poor GP..

Why are my feet on fire...they're severely bad.I'm almost wanting to cut them off...
