Been feeling very sorry for myself since Sunday night when I took a dive trying to get to the ladies. Both legs quite sore, but improving daily. I have to think twice which leg to put in the shower first cos it blinking hurts. Was really worried last couple of days because blood pressure went really high and I thought I was gonna die of a stroke and never go on answebank again. Been to Gp's this morning and it's back down so haven't got to change my medication. Any offers tp help rub ointment on my poor bruises will be grateuly received, lol!Love you all, well most of you.xx

I've been a right miserable cow to live with this week, but getting back to myself and looking for mischief and a few laughs!
Watch out Cupid, there will be a stampede, with your Scottish mate at the head of it and Tony not far behind. Seriously, I'm glad you're feeling a bit better xx
Question Author
Frugal, I had to google that. I thought it was another word for straddling.
The answer is no to both, too sore, lol!
Get some Arnica from a health shop, cupid. That will help the current bruise. (And the one's resulting from the stampede)
I find it best to stridulate in private. I quite understand that you wouldn't want to admit to it, cupid.

I was at church on Sunday night and at end of meeting made a sprint for the ladies and fell flat on my face. My legs took the brunt and it was about 15-20 minutes until I could get up because of the pain and nausea. Worse than childbirth in my opinion, lol!
Were they the communial toilets, cupid?

Too much wine, vicar - note to you.

Arnica - a bucket of it the Bard's suggestion to back up tilly's.

Glad that is improving thought....

However

I read about the fall of a Cupid today
It makes me sad and prone to wander
I took my dog to the park and let her run

She was my first parishoner in a new-found Faith
She is a lovely old woman - a bit of a tilly booze problem
I imagine she’s been feeling pretty small these days

I hear Mamya's voice pick up the leaves like wind and say,
“Bless God for the coming of a fall…”

Why do I use such gness-like materials to build a life?
I build indiscriminately, pell-mell, without much thought
It is a poor strategy, shortsighted, an AB marval thing

How long does it take for something so precarious to topple?
I need Minty or Sibs to come and shake it daily, a Frugal test
Otherwise its collapse becomes inevitable, a mallyh matter of time

I hear Mamya's voice pick up the leaves like wind and say,
“Bless God for the coming of a fall…”
cupes! I'm so sorry to see that you've been injured (you failed to mention the tequila slammers, btw...)

I really hope you feel better soon & hope you enjoy the song :-) x

'a bit of a tilly booze problem'

Explanation please, DT.
'tilly' - a synonym for tiddly....combination of alcohol and silliness = tilliest.

ref Concise English Dictionary & Wordplays.

And, ultimately, a wee tease.
Can I stop picking leaves up now and have dinner ??

Nice poem and ta for the mention.
