Wednesday. Lots of cloud about, but still no rain to speak of. Apparently Cheltenham was awash yesterday morning, we had about three drops. Carry on watering then!
Morning WBM, we had several very large thunderstorms here yesterday, the worst at 6am. Thought it would clear the air, but it is still too hot to sleep, so am busying myself with music. Hope all is well.
hi wbm n sir alec-we had a couple of blatters of thunder and 4 spots of rain y'day -could do with a good downpour to put a bit of life into the veggies and crops
I know BJ! Especially as I prefer ales. The pubs charge the earth for them. Will probably stick to red wine, but if it's that acidic French stuff, will have to go on the bitter!
Good morning all from Edinburgh xx..have had nearly 24 hours of dramatic thunder and lightening, seems to have subsided and stopped raining. Hope for a bit of Sun to dry grass as its desperately needing cut.
I like Tetley's bitter, but with the closing of the brewery I'm no longer sure if it's for sale. If they've got Theakston's Old Peculier I'll be well away!
Here in Sussex, we STILL await the much needed rain and/or thunderstorms other parts of the UK have been enjoying. We're still dry as old bones here. Oh by the way, Good Morning my friends xx
Morning Jan x Boaty x...I've been a bit later coming on and have just missed you by a few posts....also had problems with router following power cuts..
