I'm Trying To Keep Warm

The boiler is being serviced this afternoon, between 12.00 and 6.00. We haven't got the heating on and can't have the gas fire on either because that will be serviced as well.
I've cleaned the kitchen, hoovered the house, wiped down some paintwork in the hall and landing and moped the wooden floors.
I have now stopped moving ans sitting on here I'm getting cold. Shall I do some more housework?

I don't feel the cold anymore.I haven't had central heating for about 3 years, gas fire gives me a headache, I sit here with a blanket over my legs, and a cat :-)

we rarely use our central heating. When Im on the computer for long periods as now, I have a little halogen heater. keeps me lovely and warm

Sitting here on my laptop, sunshine streaming in the window and sitting room is as warm as toast. Any sunshine where you are Tilly?

Bake something, the oven will keep you warm, clean out kitchen cupboards, ironing etc

Do feel sorry for you. I hate being cold and this winter seems to have gone on forever.If I were you I'd get a hot water bottle,a good book and go to bed until they have finished.

I'm not sure the Related Question below is much help to you Tilly.
Try going outside to read your meter again wearing next to nothing and stay out there for 10 minutes; and when you come back in it will feel nice and warm.
