Is The Medicine In Omeprazole 20Mg Capsules Available In Any Other Form?

also, you can usually open the capsules and take on some jam or yog

I have these capsules but I thought they were only available on prescription, also I don't think they should be opened,

if it's a choice between not having it at all, and opening the capsule, open the capsule

These are on prescription. I didn't think of opening them because I imagined if they were in capsule form they'd be very bitter.

also, it comes in dispersible tablets

I'll phone the doctor and try to get a script for 10 mg tablets. Hopefully they'd be smaller than the capsules.

They're absolutely NOT too big to swallow sandy. I take one a day with my other stuff and they go over no problem. Put your head forward when you swallow and the job's done.
That jam will rot your teeth. :)

I take a capsule (different drug) and it does say in the leaflet that they can be broken open and taken in food ............ patient.co.uk is a useful website too

I take these and don't have any problem swallowing them. I don't think they're particularly big - although maybe I have a big mouth!

If mouth size was a consideration capsules as big as snooker balls would present no problem.
