Ryanair boss. What DO you make of him? Part of me really detests the rude individual but part of me wants to laugh at his brazen way of insulting his own paying customers! Unbelievable! Sure he is heading for a mighty fall........

You can't say he's not honest....

Think of the boss of Ratners jewellery chain, he was the same - rude and ignorant to his own customers and where is that business today? :)
Question Author
I agree woof, we travel ryanair and actually they are most efficient, we have always been on time. as long as you obey his stupid rules you are fine, and he is cheaper than other airlines.
i have always said -- in any situation,
'it's not what you say - it's the way you say it'

he could be a little more diplomatic in responding to all this rather than going off the deep end, and using obscene language and insulting his customers.
He tends to only insult those 'customers' of his who have complained about something which was fairly obvious at the time of booking....
Jeez, Ann, you are lucky; each time I flew Amsterdam to Luton and change to Ryan for Luton to Cork, I was late - the least 90 minutes, the most five hours - four times in a row! I took to flying Air Lingus via Dublin which was much more guaranteed.
Oh! Dear Ann.......what can I say as we have had the Ed telling a group of ABers to " s0d off" so perhaps it is the accepted language of the executives.
Question Author
LOL Sqad, you would never have said (or thought) that of your patients would you? :))
Ann....NHS ...might have.......Private...NEVER!
Question Author
DT - we fly Ryanair each year to Portugal and never once have we been delayed, we must just have been lucky! They even have a trumpet fanfare over the plane's sound system when landing (very naff) saying "Tada de da - yet another early arrival for Ryanair!" - actually all they do is over estimate the flying time so you think you are arriving early!
Question Author
O no Sqad? :))) I used to see a private consultant regularly at a BUPA hospital years ago (paid by my Hubby's work health insurance) and he was exactly like that - all shoting, swearing and bluster, but actually he was a big softie and had a heart of gold. He's retired now, you're not him are you? haha :)
Question Author
* shouting
Which area Ann? What specialty?
Question Author
He wasn't ENT, Sqad, I daren't say - you probably know him LOL :)
Ann...LOL....OK.
I have vowed never to Fly Ryanair again. Worse experience ever. I shall probably have to relent though - it's cheap and don't you know it. The staff are made fully aware that they are only there for health and safety reasons not for customer service - which is absolutely zilch. Not only is Mr OLeary rude so are many of his staff.

The difference is we pay him for his service, we don't pay the Ab Editor. The advertisers are his customers - he wouldn't tell them to sod off!! ;o)
Why did Ab editor come up in red?
Lofty......I have to disagree.........this site depends upon ABers.......it is the volume of ABers that encourages the advertisers to "chip in."

ABers numbers fall, then so does the interest of the advertisers.
\\\\\Why did Ab editor come up in red?\\\

Because he was blushing with embarrassment.
But do you think anybody has left because the Ed told them to sod off!! I tell people to sod off and they never do ;o).

I take your point though. :o)
