No idea why or where the idea came from, it just appealed to me. I got sent to a nursery (plant type) for my YTS (remember that?) and that put me off, the bar stools made me plant seedlings in the green houses for 3 weeks solid :-(
Not really. My ambitions on leaving college had nothing to do with career etc. I just wanted to travel and see the world. I did for a bit and then I got married which was not on my list of things to do at all. Eventually, I did have a child at age 36 which again wasn't on my list of ambitions. Never mind I have had a good life, so good, interesting jobs and some grotty ones too.
Mind you when I left school/college our career choices were few and far between and career advice was zilch. I would like now to have gone into architecture or law.
