i voluntarily left a job i loved. the details are not important now but at the time it was the best thing to do. now i wish i had stayed

I opted out of a marriage that could have been saved, and have regretted it for 28 years. So has my ex-wife.

Yes especially career wise. If you really want to be satisfied and rich you don't devote your whole life so that others may benefit. You look after no 1. and that can only come from being self employed where you make the important decisions. Getting a degree becomes a millstone round your neck.

I made a decision once that was right at the time but I'm verging on regret now. I have a feeling in ten years I'll deeply regret it. Not much I can do about it now though.
