I'm content with my lot and have a few "what ifs" but no regrets.
The past is a dead end street

This is a start!
Lots of serious regrets from early on but very happy with where I am and who I finally became- just wish I could have been him first and not fecked it up for so many people including me.
Blimey I messed up from before I left school, 'easily distracted, could achieve much more, Dorothy doesn't apply herself, works well when she wants to, needs to concentrate on her work,' common phrases in my Grammar school reports (re-read them just 3 days ago!) my life has pretty much gone on ever since in much the same way! (and I left school 40 years ago)
Sounds just like my school reports dot. I work in a creative field and my main pastime as a child was drawing, so generally I do what I love (and have to do otherwise I'd go insane).
A mixture for me, TWR, same as Zacs to some extent

I work in market positioning (ii) writing for tecchie folk (RD/engineering/scienstists) to make their products more 'understandable' to their clients - at different levels in the organisation from boards to specialists (iii) some creative writing - hee hee and (iv) my drawing and painting, part commercial.

Are you content with life - yes and no, but then life goes on and I am sure one or maybe two of the Nos will come around, given time and fortune (not money, but that helps).
I'm quite content with the career I've had. Apart from meeting and marrying Lord Sugar that is.
I'm contented now in life, never had a job of my dreams, got a well paid job now but it has it's downsides
