I treat myself to haddock, chips, and mushy peas, once a month. Luckily where I now live I have to drive to a chip shop. At my last house the next door neighbour owned a chip shop and used to bring them home for me, about 3 times a week!!
Sgree about the chips ummmm. After flogging in the garden I shall be making fish and crinkly chips and using a dry fry pan which uses 2teaspoonsful of olive oil. Mme S cannot digest much fat but loves them. Plus home made mushy peas of course. Shop fish and chips is for the rich nowadays.
