WBM, Just found this in one of our local rags it may be of some interest to you. http://www.gazetteand...enham_to_boost_canal/
I'm fine thanks moonie. I've just had a couple of days away with friends who new my wife well. they spoiled me rotten! I wasn't even allowed to pay for anything.
Good morning moon, bernie, wb and all.......we're back after 5 weeks, spent mostly in the beautiful coutry of NZ. Have missed all the banter on AB but plenty of time now to catch up.

Have a good day everybody.
Morning jd. NZ is beautiful isn't it.
They are doing a good job on the Wilts and Berks canal moonie. More canals are being brought back into use all the time.
Morning folks xxx

JD, nice to see you back.

Boaty, glad you were spoilt rotten, that's what friends do, apart from 'panning' you on Saturday lol. How's the head?
Morning alba. xxx I'm fine thanks (the bonce I mean!) Lovely as it was it's nice to be home. however, I'm told it will be repeated in the not too distant future. Fine by me! :o}
awww, that's something to look forward to! It doesn't matter how nice it is to go away somewhere, you can't beat your own bed upon returning.
(I know there's a song somewhere along those lines)
That's the truth of it alba. My next one is to Mooseheart in three weeks time. I'm not so bothered about that one now. In fact I'm looking forward to it.
You're going to get a reputation with all this gadding about y'know :)
O:} We did a lot of gadding about alba. We went to Mooseheart at least three times a year, to Cornwall at least once. Well travelled we are. :o}
Can't blame you. If you live in a beautiful part of the country, then tootle along to see the rest of it I say :)
Indeed alba. It is something that is such a joy to see other places. they are there to be visited.
During the school holidays one year, I dragged my boys around various historic places which are local to us. Purely for fun, honest!!!
