What do you use for motivation to get things done when all you want to do is curl up and sleep on these cold nights?
Any ideas welcome except for food ones as i have no willpower!

thanks

Wow!
You think it's cold at the moment....where do you live?
I find recognising that I don't want to do it, but that once it's done it's out of the way, works best for me. I call it 'eating frog'....think about it.
The thought of getting up in the morning and facing all tonights dirty dishes, motivates me to get on and get the dishes done now.
Just remind yourself that if you do not do it then it will not get done and you will be the one who suffers.
I like the quote from gladiator 'sometimes I do what I want to do, the rest of the time I do what I have to'... Or words to that effect anyway. Basically how I go about things.

Vicasso i live in Wales, i am aware winter has only just begun but i suffer from the cold easily already with two duvets and a hot water bottle!

I will try your suggestions thanks for the help, i know the sooner i get something done the quicker it will be out the way but then there is always something else that needs doing that you also don't want to do.
Put on some music, turn it up n dance you're way through it. Works for me.
Stay warm, Leapers.
I have a notebook in which I list everything that needs to be done in and around the house. I don't work through as a list, I select the jobs depending upon the urgency, the weather and how energetic I'm feeling. Ticking items off is satisfying. Larger jobs I break down into smaller tasks so I'm not looking at e.g. 'decorate landing' as a whole, I'm looking at 'paint spare room door'.
I used to be a project manager for many years, can you tell? :-)
put all the jobs down on pieces of card and add a few nice things like read for an hour...bubble bath....etc and put in a pile face down pick one at random and do that ... try again...
