I have my Colonoscopy tomorrow, I have just sat down to my first glass of "Kleen-Prep"

I have put this in Body & Soul as I feel this would be most appropriate as I think my body and soul will soon be exiting through my bottom.

I wasn't warned about just how foul this liquid is, and I have to drink four Ltrs of this gunk tonight!!

Well actually it says I can also take it through my nose with a tube, I tried but it just makes me sneeze and makes my eyes water.

Wish me luck guys, apparently (according to Billy Connolly) this stuff was developed by NASA, I'm preparing for take off! :-(

Just a little Ann, im down to running water type now but still got to keep drinking that stuff.
try not to get dehydrated ..
Believe me tfn, I always give him plenty of TLC, lol!!! He is doing OK really, just occasionally rushes past the wolfies with no time for cuddles .... what must they be thinking??! lol
Poor you , ratter.
This too will pass.

Trust me, downing the vile stuff is by far the worst bit of the whole procedure.
I could not contemplate swallowing anything vanilla flavoured for months.

Dehydrated!! I have drank more liquid tonight than I have all week. lol

thanks Ann, I can still drink my ginger beer and my black coffee.
You have just reminded me of the time my dear Bosun puppy nicked and devoured in a single gulp a whole 'sausage' of Matteson's liver pate. He slept in the kitchen at that time. The following morning I awoke to the smell of what I thought was a gas leak. I have never seen such a pitiful canine in all my life. Pet owners need their heads examining ♥
You'd think they could make it taste a bit better at least! Only half a ltr to go I think ... I hope! Glad this is the worst part nearly over.
I have to go to bed now I hate to leave, it must look positively odd worrying about someone rushing to the loo. I've never been on a thread like this before. I do hope all goes well tomorrow ratter. Mrask turned out to have diverticulitis, which doesn't bother him much now.
Love our avatar ttfn, goodnight x
I think you can stop when it turns to water, Ratter......I'm pretty sure I really couldn't face any more after the third litre....have a good look at the intstructions

Thanks Ask, your input has been warmly welcomed, goodnight and sleep well xxx

I suppose its not your normal everyday type of thread is it.
Sweet dreams, gran, am pleased to read Mrask is ok now. Bet RATTER wishes he could divert his too. ♥
I remember many years ago when I had my second Wolfhound and he ate something that made him quite ill. He got the runs during the night and had covered our entire long hallway in very runny "you know what". Our bedroom was at the end of the hallway. My then husband got up to go to the toilet in the dark, sleepily walked into the hallway in his boxer shorts and .... you guessed it ... he slipped on the "you know what" and ended up covered head to toe in it! Never seen such a big dog hide under such a small table before, lol! I couldn't stop laughing for ages! LOL
night night gran, sweet dreams!

night night anne, sweet dreams xxx
night night all, sweet dreams!
Sssshhhh Cara - I fear it may be Jelly Baby Nightmares in someone's case
What time is the colonoscopy?
Question Author
Well, I survived the night, I'm already to be anally probed.

I'm starving, I haven't even had my mornings fix of strong black coffee. Oh Joy!!! :-(
