Im going on holiday soon, hot on the beach. However my periods have recently become irregular due to the menopause and i am so worried i may start when im swimming/sunbathing and the mess i may get in. There must be others out there that have gone through this stage-can anyone give me any ideas or tips for when you dont know when this may happen. It is really putting me off my holiday which i would usually be so excited about.

I haven't had experience of them but I believe you can get your GP to prescribe something in tablet form that will postpone a period for a certain length of time. Other more knowledgeable ABers may help further.
